Good Shepherd (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is a faith-based mobile application focused on Bible reading, prayer journaling, and family legacy building. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
- Account Information: Email or other identifiers if you create an account.
- Prayer Journal & Notes: Your journal entries, voice notes, and prayer data (stored privately).
- Family Tree: Names, relationships, photos, and legacy information you choose to add and share with family members.
- Bible Progress: Reading history and custom schedules (local or synced).
- Usage Data: Anonymous analytics to improve the app (optional).
- Subscription Data: Processed via RevenueCat (we do not store payment details).
- To provide and improve the core features (Bible reader, journaling, family tree).
- To sync data across your devices if you enable it.
- To enable family sharing for Family Tree features.
- To send important app updates or notifications (with your permission).
- Family Sharing: Family Tree and selected journal entries are only shared with people you explicitly invite.
- Service Providers: We use trusted third parties (e.g. RevenueCat for subscriptions, cloud storage for backups) who are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access, correct, or delete your data by contacting us.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of analytics or notifications.
Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
